But here we are, at the 4th year of this particular edition. Why I didn’t pick “The Girls of Practically Well” instead I have no idea. Eh, it’s been done before.

But I bet it would have boosted my followers.

C’est la Vie, and I digress….

So, who makes the list this year? And are they really the “10 Best?”

Probably not. Maybe just the 10 that caught my eye. So here, in no particular order, are MY top 10 Holiday Fitness gifts for 2021.

10. KARECEL RECHARGEABLE HAND WARMERS

With three heat settings between 104 to 131 degrees, this little hand-held device takes away the stiff, cold feelings of fingers in seconds and works for up to three hours. Bonus: It will also re-charge your cell phone. See, you think I made last last part up. But no, seriously, if you want to warm your hands AND charge your cell phone at the same time, the little gem is for you.

9. THERAGUN MINI (RED)

Percussive therapy is a hit (pun intended) of the fitness community, since it allows users to give themselves massage therapy on an as-needed basis. Three speeds of pulsing last up to 150 minutes on one charge. C’mon guys, Cristiano Renaldo is doing it. At least he’s being paid to act like he’s doing it. And I’m glad to see that he’s finding some side work to make a little extra money.

8. GAIAM RESTORE LOOP BAND KIT

These are the new big thing, wrapping one of these around your thighs and doing squats. You know what else is a new big thing? Watching people fall over because they have bound their legs together. Comedy is hard, but sometimes it is SO simple. This set of light, medium and heavy resistance bands come with a downloadable exercise guide.

7. HIGHERDOSE INFRARED SAUNA BLANKET V3

Amethyst , tourmaline, negative ions, heightened detoxification, voila………freaking voila.

Only $500? It’s a freaking steal.

This is NOT a back brace. Of course not. It’s way too cute & pink to be a back brace. But it does make sure her back and abdomen are properly supported when she’s deadlifting multiples of her body weight. Or him. There’s nothing wrong with a pink back brace…uh…”core belt” on a guy. Don’t be so narrow-minded people.

4. YES4ALL 3 IN 1 WOODEN PLYO BOX

What? A wooden box? I’m gonna spend $125 on a wooden box, Bob? Well, my short-sighted friend, this is not just a wooden box, no siree! Umm, I love these. Seriously. Craps & working out? SO good. Make a game of mixing up your fitness routine with these multi-sided dice that command you perform “1 Minute Plank,” “25 Calf Raises” or ( heaven forbid) “15 lunges.”

This Velcro-fastened vest has 40 individual weights
to add and subtract for runs, HIIT workouts and general bad assery. You know what? I see these everywhere now! I thought at first that there were a lot of former military folks here in So. California. But no, weighing yourself down with these vests is the next step after wrist & ankle weights, I guess. I don’t really see the need for me. I drink beer.
